Strangely I have won the ten quid on the national lottery again on Xmas day !

We have had snow yesterday but it only lasted a few hours, today the snow has lasted all day.

I got a cool Jeep divers watch for Xmas and loads of other stuff.

I have written most of the 2005 yearly review so hopefully I will post that before June unlike last year.

I am happy to say my UPS works, and more importantly the power cut did not interrupt my game of UT2004 !!

I added a forum to the menu at http://www.pay4foss.org but because its free it has no email protection so if you use it PLEASE disguise your email address.

Still not much going on, I am trying to fix the window cleaners PC but I think the HDD is shot, I have been (slowly) backing up 14 gig for over 50 hours, but it is still going !

Xmas puts the spam levels higher than normal but having many many email addresses gives me a unique filtering advantage.

A common spam technique is to use the name from the email address in the subject so the email looks personalised.

hi emailone etc etc etc

hi emailtwo etc etc etc

hi emailthree etc etc etc

hi emailfour etc etc etc

so I just order by subject !

Actually there was one thing, I bought Mario Kart DS and it is GOOD! the wifi setup was easy I can play with people around the world !

This is usually where I make some kind of apology, but not today, I have not posted anything because nothing much has happened.

I have been doing some work on converting the topblock demo to work with xscreensaver, but its not finished, I did send many hours ripping audio CDs to find I have about 20 gig, which was a lot more than I originally thought.

I did see Flight Plan in the cinema, but it was not as bad as everyone said, but not amazing either.

maybe there will be something to report tomorrow.
