I am not writing a book review because i am having a hard time getting through this one, not thats its difficult to read or boring, quite the opposite , its just absolutely GIGANTIC !

What am i reading ? Steven King's IT

I never saw the film and it has always intreeged me as to its contents, am still not half way through but i am hooked !

I bought three second hand games from blockbuster (very cheap) Burnout and SSX tricky for the gamecube and SSX 3 for the xbox.

I have been enthralled by burnout, gfx are a bit dated but its so much fun and the crash physics engine is something else !

But I tried SSX 3 on the xbox and was bitterly disappointed, amazing gfx and characters, clever sound track lots of options and customisations but NO repeat NO playerbility :(

I am afraid to try SSX tricky on the gamecube .....

I got a external USB ide box and then a 200gig hdd for it, I wanted it to working windows (everything works in Linux) but there was no drive letter even though the device was recognised.

Start/Control Panel/Manage Computer/Disk Management/initialise disk

then 1 hour 20 mins later new formatted drive ;)

Oh and now I am selling my beloved car, Suzuki GV2000, yr2000 X reg, 21,500mls, full service /tax/MOT for seven grand (GBP), I will miss her when she is gone but paying through the nose for the last twelve months and not using it is just stupid.

You know I always have something to say, i just get lazy putting fingers to keys.

So I have given up TOTALLY on the cube version of Zelda and the Ocarina time, I did complete the first half as young Link but the second half is to long and boring. But I did so enjoy the Wind Waker :(

And when I put the disk in its finally resting place I noticed Star Fox, which I had given up on due to a specific bit being to hard, second time trying got past that and then went on to complete the game !

Andros's brain hmmmmm.

The long running Karin Slaughter saga is finished as I complete the the first of the three books I have read in reverse order, Blindsighted is by far the more gresume, with nasty gritty details you will want to forget, but of course that makes it a great read (if you can stomach it)

I am still trying to setup Fedora core for my brother but now its Fedora Core 2, I actually got the Core 1 working but not quite as I wanted it and then after a eleven hours I had downloaded the 2gig of iso's for core 2 but there are no RPMs for the software modem, grrr.
